Accidents happen. People get hurt, sick, or lost. The temperature drops, the wind picks up, and it starts to rain. Would you know what to do? By learning a few basic skills, you can make the difference between a good outcome and a bad one - and maybe even save a life.
Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is a hands-on trainings designed to meet the needs of trip leaders, camp staff, outdoor enthusiasts, and individuals working in remote locations. WFA is a 16-hour (two day) course that focuses on the basic skills of: response and assessment, musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries, environmental and medical emergencies, survival skills, and more.
Upon completion, you will receive a SOLO WFA certification (valid for two years)

AHA BLS Course
This is the BLS skills session for the American Heart Associations blended BLS course known as Heartcode. This course is geared for professional rescuers and people who work in the medical field. If you choose this option, you will take the first part of the class online at your own pace (30 to 90 minutes). After that, there is a required 2 hour hands on skills session that will take place during the WFA class weekend.
