About the Event
This event is a celebration of hammock culture in the coldest weather we can hope for. The Wisconsin Frozen Butt Hang is a short "pulk or toboggan towing" trip in deep snow country. We like to get out there and really put ourselves and our gear to the test! We've been lucky enough to have some of the coldest temperatures the Midwest has to offer and routinely have the coldest of all winter hang events.
Where? Game Lake in Deerbrook, WI. Parking is at Veteran's Memorial Park.
The Route: The hike in is 1.5 miles from the parking area to the campsite on Game Lake. Snow can be deep, so watch the weather and be prepared to travel with snowshoes and sleds/toboggans.
